What happens if I’m late with my payment or don’t pay at all?
All lenders are different. The best thing you can do is to contact your lender directly as soon as possible to see what options they can offer. The worst thing you can do is ignore the debt. Additional fees will more than likely occur in the event of a late or partial payment. Failure to pay will most often result in legal action, as well as reporting of the non-payment to a consumer reporting agency.
